A CPA since 1994, Glenn is the Owner of Harper & Company CPAs Plus, an entrepreneur, public speaker, and co-host on the podcast Empowering Entrepreneurs.
Glenn decided in 2017 to expand the firm beyond the traditional tax compliance focus to a firm committed to delivering advisory and consulting services to the clients they serve. At his core, Glenn loves to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them understand and manage their tax, accounting, and business strategies. As an entrepreneur himself, Glenn believes every entrepreneur deserves to enjoy the journey. He is passionate about teaching other entrepreneurs how to build financial and operational excellence into their businesses and scale to create the lifestyle they love.
Glenn was named to Accounting Today’s 2022 MP Elite as one of the top 10 Managing Partners in the country, and his firm, Harper & Company CPAs Plus, was the 2021 winner of the prestigious Luca Award.
Outside of work, Glenn is a devoted Buckeyes fan and loves golfing, fishing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his three children- Austin, Riley, and Megan.

Paul joined the firm in August 2017. Paul has more than 15 years of experience as a CPA in public accounting and trust tax preparation. Paul has served small businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, and not-for-profit clients. He enjoys and is dedicated to helping his business and individual clients solve complex tax issues. Paul has been married for 15 years to his wife, Dana, and they have has a daughter, 13, and son, 10. Their daughter plays the French horn in middle school while their son plays travel baseball and basketball throughout Central Ohio.
B.A. Accounting – Bowling Green State University

Julie has over 30 years of business experience in both the corporate and small business arenas. She enjoys engaging with clients and strives to help them with any questions they may have regarding their account.
Julie and her husband Leland live in Dublin with their dog Miller and have 2 kids who have flown the nest. She enjoys watching a good hockey game or going to a horse show.

Chris joined the firm in 2019 as an intern and started full time after graduation in 2021. Chris enjoys learning, problem solving, and helping clients. He plans to have his CPA sometime in 2022. Chris has lived in Columbus his whole life and loves watching the Buckeyes win. You may find Chris spend time with friends at a local bar and drink a nice cold one. In his free time, he watches TV and plays video games.
Chris likes to vacation anywhere with warm weather and a beach. He plans to vacation to Europe in the future.

Julie Smith, MBA, is the Practice Manager for Harper & Company CPAs Plus, an entrepreneur, and co-host of the podcast Empowering Entrepreneurs. Julie joined the firm in November of 2013 and brings a strategic approach to running the practice.
Empowering others to develop into their best professional selves is her passion. Her superpower is teaching leaders how to get out of their own way so they can successfully execute change, build positive cultures, and move their businesses forward. With expertise in the business of public accounting, Julie also speaks nationwide and enjoys inspiring others in the profession to take action, evolve, and grow.
Julie was named CPA.com’s 2021 Innovative Practitioner of Year, and she was honored to accept the Luca Award on behalf of the firm from Thomson Reuters, also in 2021.
Julie has 2 beautiful daughters, Ella and Avery, that she enjoys spending time with in addition to traveling, sporting events, and running.

Amanda joined the firm in May 2021. Amanda has over 12 years of administrative experience working in the accounting field. She is organized and detail-oriented, which are necessary skills for her role in continuing the firm’s paperless aspiration.
Amanda enjoys being a cat mom and playing video games with her boyfriend Josh. When not in the office, you will find her shopping and enjoying local cuisine.

As an Executive Assistant here at Harper & Company, Ashley supports the Harper team and our clients! The minute you talk to her, you’ll know her special superpower for relieving the anxiety that comes with questions about tax returns, the portal, vouchers, or even notices. With over a dozen years as an Executive Assistant, Ashley eats challenges for breakfast. Never shying away from a question or something new in her day, she is a “go to” person for both our team and our clients.
When she isn’t working, Ashley’s life outside the office is just as fast paced with 3 young children at home, a husband, and an Golden Retriever. Originally from Wisconsin, she’s still a “Cheesehead” at heart and a fan of any cheese and most cold brews.

Ashley Dean joined Harper & Co CPAs Plus in 2025 as our Front Desk Coordinator, bringing more than 20 years of experience in both photography and finance. With 10 years in administrative roles and 5 years as a tax preparer, she is skilled, computer-savvy, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Ashley is excited to bring her reliability, dedication, and love of meeting new people to the team, while also looking forward to furthering her education in accounting.
Originally from southern Ohio, Ashley is embracing life in Columbus by exploring new restaurants, connecting with people, and discovering all the city has to offer. She’s a proud mom to her daughter, who is currently in her junior year of college, and a devoted “dog mom” to her three adorable puppies.
When she’s not welcoming clients at the front desk, Ashley enjoys a wide variety of interests; from girls’ nights and wineries to catching a good movie, cheering on sports, and even the occasional roller coaster adventure.

Drew joined Harper & Co CPAs Plus in 2025 as our Tax and Accounting Manager, bringing more than 25 years of public and private accounting experience to the firm. He enjoys digging into complex issues and finding smart, practical solutions that make a meaningful difference for his clients. Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, Drew and his wife recently relocated to Columbus and are enjoying settling into their new community while staying connected to family.
Outside of work, Drew and his wife are avid sports fans and enjoy following their favorite teams across multiple leagues. Each summer, they travel to visit different baseball stadiums and are working toward a goal of visiting all fifty states… with just 18 left to go! Drew also enjoys cycling on trails, spending time at the Carolina beaches, and staying active through endurance sports.

Leesa brings eight years of office administration and supervisory experience to her role, backed by an Associate's Degree in Business. What she enjoys most is building relationships and creating a positive experience for everyone she works with, bringing warmth and reliability to every interaction.
Outside of work, Leesa loves spending quality time with her husband and their kids, making memories together. When she's not with family, you can often find her browsing the aisles at Hobby Lobby, on the hunt for her next creative project. She's always looking for new ways to stay creative and savor life's little moments.
